Founders' Words · Nina & BenAt home we have one aloof cat and one smiling angel. Coming home to them each day, and knowing they're waiting for you, is one of life's small joys. When we all go travelling, don't we worry about our babies being shut in a cage, feeling lonely? Their lives are so short, and they give all their love to their owners; they deserve to be cherished. That's why we believe Hong Kong needs more open-plan dog hotels, so that while their humans travel, our dogs can still have company and happy times. Life is short, spoil your dog! ❤️
Founders' Words · AlexI'm the owner of four rabbits and two dogs. One of the rabbits fell suddenly ill at two years old and left us less than a day after surgery. As I carried her home in my arms, it struck me how true these words are: “To us, they’re part of our lives; to them, we’re their whole world.” From soon after my dogs and rabbits were born, right up to the day they left, they were always by our side, or waiting for us. So I dearly want them to be happy even when their owners aren't around, whether we're at work or away travelling.
Even though I often take them swimming and hiking, and cook their meals by hand every day, whenever I'm at work or away, all they can do is sleep at home and wait. If only there were a place where, when I can't be with them, they could play and run free: I go to work, they go to “school”; I go travelling, they go on holiday. That would be perfect. Companion Planet is my answer to that wish: that in their lives there might be a little less waiting, and a lot more joy.
